Collection: Hand-Hammered Copper Cookware

Hand-hammered copper pots, pans and cookware sets by Amoretti Brothers. Italian design, made by our artisans in Mexico since 2006. Every piece is tin-lined by hand and fitted with cast bronze handles, for the fast, even heat that makes copper the choice of serious cooks.

Why tin-lined copper cookware

Copper heats quickly and evenly and responds the moment you change the flame, so sauces, reductions and searing are easier to control. The tin lining, applied by hand over fire with pure tin, gives you a naturally non-reactive cooking surface that won't alter the taste of acidic food.

What's in the collection

Saucepans, sauté pans, stockpots, Dutch ovens, rondeaux and casseroles, cocottes, frying pans, roasting pans, paella pans and complete copper cookware sets. Most pieces come in two lines: the signature Flower lid, with a sculpted bronze knob, and the clean Standard lid.

How it's made

Each piece is hand-hammered from solid copper, double tin-lined, and finished with cast bronze handles riveted in copper. No two pieces are identical.

Frequently asked questions

Does copper cookware work on induction? No. It works on gas, electric and ceramic stovetops, but not induction.

How hot can tin-lined copper get? Tin melts at around 450°F, so never heat an empty pan on high, and keep oven use below that temperature.

How do I care for it? Hand wash with mild soap and use wooden or silicone utensils. Polish the outside to keep it bright, or let a natural patina develop.

Is shipping free? Yes, cookware ships free within the continental US.
